The Energy Agency of Extremadura (AGENEX) is a public entity, set up by regional and local entities of governmental and training nature, created in 2001 in order to promote the energy source diversification and the energy efficiency in Extremadura. Agenex promotes initiatives that improve regional and local policies in the area of energy and also develops multilateral European Cooperation programmes at all levels: As Lead Partner, as regular partner and in virtually all European programmes tackling Energy issues, from H2020, Erasmus +, LIFE +, to the Interregional Cooperation programmes.

Fundación Laboral de la Construcción (FLC) was born in late 1992 as a non profit entity created by the most representative organizations of the construction sector in Spain:

  • National Construction Confederation (CNC)
  • CCOO of Construction and Services
  • Federation of Industry, Construction and Agro of UGT (UGT-Fica)

Foundation comes in the General Convention of the Construction Sector in establishing its creation and organization at the state level in order to professionalize and dignify the different offices of the construction sector.

Its objectives are:

  • Development of Vocational Training, courses emphasizing machinery and its maintenance.
  • Promotion of research, development and promotion of actions for the improvement of occupational health and safety at work.
  • Promoting better jobs and issuing and monitoring of the Professional Construction Card.

The Communauté d'Agglomération du GrandAngoulême (urban community) is a local authority for cities cooperation. It covers a territory of 38 municipalities which has about 160,000 inhabitants. Its main areas are: economic development, environment and living environment, land use, transportation, social policies. GrandAngoulême has always encouraged the development of business activities in the fields of graphism, mecatronics and metalworking. Moreover, the industrial area also develops innovative and creative industries through its “image pool” (local cluster dedicated to comics, animation films, television series, movies, service providing, innovative products). Angoulême is worldwide known as the “capital of comics” regarding the International Festival for Comics.

GrandAngoulême is involved for many years in several european cooperation projects as partner and lead partner (Interreg IVB Atlantic Area & SUDOE).

LISBOA E-NOVA is a non-profit association operating under private law that seeks to contribute to the sustainable development of the city of Lisbon through mainstreaming good practices in urban planning, construction, urban management, energy and mobility, involving all the city's key stakeholders, among political decision makers, all major urban stakeholders and the citizens of Lisbon.

LISBOA E-NOVA comprises 26 affiliates who are active in very distinct sectors, including local administration, education, water and energy utilities, transport, among others.

LISBOA E-NOVA has broad experience developing European projects in several fields, such as smart cities, energy efficiency, sustainable mobility, environment strategies and policies, water management and environmental education. The participation of LISBOA E-NOVA in European projects comprises, among others, projects supported by Interreg programmes, FP-7 and H2020.

Navarra de Suelo y Vivienda S.A.U. (Nasuvinsa), is a Navarre Government public corporation attached to the Housing and Public Works Department.

Nasuvinsa has a long history in Renovation both as project manager and technical support providing advice on this matter for the Navarre Government Housing and Public Works Department. We can highlight in this participation that Nasuvinsa groups the 3 Housing and Building Renovation existing Offices in Navarre, in addition to contrasted experience in the Energy Renovation of Districts.

Nasuvinsa has a specialized technical team with important experience in essential tasks to successfully carry out an Integral Energy Renovation project and advising in technical aspects. Other areas of activity:

  • Mediation between the demands of private bodies and policies developed by the Administration
  • Support in formalization of Collaboration Agreements
  • Integral co-ordination of Energy Renovation Projects
  • Technical knowledge and experience in Energy Efficiency

Created in 2006, The CREAHd is the regional cluster for sustainable construction and development sector in Nouvelle Aquitaine. By promoting innovation, it is an accelerator to stimulate the research in the construction and materials in order to strengthen the competitiveness of companies. The cluster federates and runs a regional network of companies, research organizations, communities and prime contractors. It supports the emergence of collaborative and technology transfer projects, that enable local players to develop significant competitive advantages. The CREAHd facilitates the search for partners and funding, the link with owners and developers, ensure valorization through the dissemination of feedback of experiences and good practices. Based in Pessac on the territory of Bordeaux Métropole, CREAHd's field of activity is Building, Public Works and Materials, with themes covering the whole lifecycle of buildings and structures, from design to deconstruction-recycling, through site and operation-maintenance-use.

Comunidade Intermunicipal do Tâmega e Sousa

CIM–TS (Comunidade Intermunicipal do Tâmega e Sousa) is a legal person governed by public law of associative nature and territorial scope and aims to the realization of the common interests from the Municipalities that comprise it.

Tâmega e Sousa covers an area of 1,831 km2, corresponding to 8.6% of the North, and is composed of the municipalities of Amarante, Baião, Castelo de Paiva, Celorico de Basto, Cinfães, Felgueiras, Lousada, Marco de Canaveses, Paços de Ferreira, Penafiel and Resende. With a population of about 433,000 inhabitants, a population density of 236 inhabitants / km2, accounting for 4% of the population residing in Portugal and 12% in the North region, is one of the youngest regions of the country.

CIM–TS is a Covenant of Mayors coordinator and recently finished its sustainable energy action plans with the definition of actions until 2020 taking advantage on the knowledge and experience of the 11 municipalities in the field of energy management.
